Your role as a Financial Controller at Xsens

For temporary replacement of our Financial Controller we are looking for an ambitious, flexible professional who is experienced in temporary finance positions in an international environment. Your primary responsibility will be the accurate accounting and consolidation of the Xsens entities.

During the period of this assignment you will also be a key player in the Navision Business Central roll out within the group and involved in several projects, like setting up new entities and transfer pricing projects. The duration of this assignment will be approximately 5 months, from April to September 2021. 

In this role you will be working closely together with the Xsens team and the mCube Finance colleagues globally (San José, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Taiwan, Bangalore and Enschede).

Key challenges:

• Qualitative administration of the Xsens legal entities in the Netherlands and North-America
• Perform monthly consolidation and reporting activities
• Manage year-end audit process and finalization of FY 2020 Annual accounts
• Guide on and perform processing of purchase invoices, bank statements and any other finance transactions
• Credit control Management
• Manage payment process
• Perform and control monthly and quarterly VAT and Sales tax declarations
• Reporting for CBS
• Control and manage monthly account reconciliation process

• Bachelor in Business and Economics or equivalent and a Master in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance roles
• Track record in financial control and very good understanding of general accounting practices
• Fluent in English
• Skilled in use of MS Office tools and Navision (Business Central is a pre) and other reporting tools, e.g. Qlik
